When you book a session you will also be asked a lot of questions to give me a better idea what you like and don’t like. I also love for my clients to send me examples of what they like. Screen shots of my work or someone else’s that you would like to use as inspiration for your session.
I will also email you a newborn information packet that will give you a much better idea of what to expect. Here is a good place to start and learn a little more. I always stress to my clients don’t get over anxious about this! You can just bring baby and let me choose everything or you are welcome to go through my client closet and pick out outfits as well as hats for baby.
A fed baby is a happy baby. I am not here to judge on how you feed baby. You do you mama, I’ve had four kids and I’ve fed all my babies ALL different ways. No Judgement here. If you do choose to breast feed but have no problem supplementing please remember to bring an extra few bottles just in case. Babies ALWAYS eat more than normal during their sessions. Even though I ask that you feed right before you leave to come to my studio sometimes babies are still hungry. Remember at home you are not moving your baby around naked, so it’s all different there.
Just a heads up….. POOP HAPPENS. It’s not going to freak me out, I’m used to it. So don’t worry about it. When babies are naked they are going to poop and pee, no worries. BUT you might want to remember this if you choose to have images taken where you are holding a naked baby. A change of clothes can help you not have a stinky ride home. Normally I wrap baby in family images but if you’re brave there’s always naked options, lol.
